John F. Kennedy International Airport (airport code JFK) is the United States’ 6th busiest airport and was originally built in 1948 and renamed for the slain American president in December 1963. Operated by the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, JFK Airport is located in the borough of Queens only 15 miles from midtown Manhattan.
